Hello All; My name is Ian. Sice January of this year I have been training for triathlon. Three weeks ago I was thrown from my bike and broke my collar bone. Pretty much all my triathlon plans have been scrapped. However I can still run. So I signed up for the Whistlestop Marathon in Wisconsin in October. I think I'm going to follow Hal Higdons Novice schedule. It looks like I'm joining it half way through week 16. I had a solid running base through my tri training, comfortably running up to 10K. I feel pretty confident that I will be able to make the switch. I'm just a touch concerned about going from running 2-3 times a week to running 6 times a week.
