Hi, write to me at warlick@marathoner.com. I'm registered for the Richmond marathon, as well as the NJ Shore, Yonkers, and Baltimore marathons. You may want to get on line April 1 for the Marathon in the Parks and the North Central Trails marathons, since both reach their capacity early. MCM goes online on April 10. I'm a paid member of Reston Runners and DC Road Runners, but not particularly active in either. Both have training programs and weekend long runs. Both have excellent web sites giving schedules. Reston sponsored the Footsteps 10 miler last Sunday, which I ran. Alan Webb helped at the Footsteps' packet pickup, so I got to meet him! Just a nice, unassuming HS guy, who I recognized from all his recent publicity (and the fact people called him Alan)! Anyway, I'm a recent convert, having started with the Marine Corps Marathon 2000, and now running about one marathon per month, for a total of five to date. I enjoy them, even the wet, winter, freezing ones!
