FYI, there was another thread about the Forerunner on the Running Tips/Training BB:

Susan, I have a 5.5" wrist and can wear the Forerunner 201 with no probs. The wrist band is velcro and easily adjustable (for bigger wrists, it comes with a strap extension). The unit’s face is 3.3" W x 1.7" H, which did seem quite large at first but at only 2.75 oz, it's quite lightweight. It took me a few runs to get used to, but I’m quite happy with it now.

www.garmin.com lists product specifications, examples of what the screen looks like, even has a manual online for those who want to know all about it before they get it.
