My first injury!

Only 4 weeks to go to my first marathon on 22nd April and I today I went out on my long run. I had a slight twinge at the back of my left ankle b4 I went out but nothing severe so I thought I would just run it off. I was aiming for 16 miles but after 10 it was beginning to hurt more, so much so that I was not able to put full body weight on it and caused me to hobble a little.

I don't know the technical names but it's just above my heel, that long thin part just above it at the rear. The pain is in that area. I thought I should stop after 10 miles in case I caused further damage.

Anyone know what this is or what the best course of action to take is?

I really need to do one more decent long run of 16m+ before I begin to taper. the London marathon is on April 22nd.

Thanks for any advice
