I agree with Joe: maybe it would be wise to look to another race (suggestion: think of Quebec City in late August, a terrific race in a most beautiful setting) instead of running injured - which can complicate your running carreer for a while.
That is, unless you don't mind resting until the race you planned (forget any more long runs or even strenuous speedwork) (buy a bag of frozen peas and ice your injury a few times every day) and accept the fact that you will run slowly and probably even drop out at the first sign of pain...
