continuing to train afterwards, I just want to do a marathon once. The London one which I aimed to do is now 3 weeks away. My achilles is getting better and I'm not limping as bad as last week.

I tried a light jog on treadmill today but my action wasn't fluent and I could feel the tendon pain. When I am at rest it is just a VERY slight dull ache, nothing severe, I can get about and climb stairs etc. but as yet can't run correctly. There is no swelling I am hoping mother nature and father time can fix me in time for the race. My shoes are a couple of months old are not worn on the inside. i think it may just be increasing my road training and hills that have caused it.

Thanks for all your advice. You're great support. I have a backup plan should I pul out but I'll let the board know.

Thanks again everyone!

DArren
