Fuel Belts / What distance do you need water...

Howdy again...

Ed got me thinking with his reply about fuel belts in a previous post(and GU).

What do you guys all think about Fuel belts? Do you like them? Don't they get in the way of your arms when you run?

Also, the 2nd part of my question is:

To this point, the most mileage I've completed is 5 miles. I'll be doing a 6 miler this Sunday for my LSD run. At what point should I be drinking water and/or sports drinks? I've simply waited until I got back to the car up until now, but.... I think I'll need to have a wee bit of something shouldn't I?

Thanks again guys... this board rocks!
