I run about 15 mi/wk and occasionally go 7 mi or more when I'm motivated. I only wear a fuel belt (notice I didn't say Fanny Pack) when I run > 1 hr on a trail. When on a road or track > 1hr, I'll run in a loop to get back to where I stash supplies, like at home or at a safe place in a park. It works for me. I'm aiming for the Philly 1/2-mar in Sep. and possibly going the Full Monty in the Philly in Nov. We'll see. You're right - this site helps.
