I like my fuelbelt for long runs. It provides the water and/or sportsdrink I need for runs longer than an hour.
I also use my fuelbelt for the first 17 or 18 miles of the marathon, I drop my fuelbelt off with my "support crew" after that.
I supplement my fuelbelt by picking up water cups at aid stations and reserving the fuelbelt bottles for my favorite sports drink.
My fuelbelt did get in my way when I ran, so I razored the front pockets off and only use the back pockets.
