Why I wanted to

I already asked my doctor and she said it would be fine as long as I trained for it (I don't know how I would get threw it if I didn't train for it). My dad is a runner (He ran in the Boston when I was a little girl) but when I asked him to help me train for a Marathon, he said no. He does not think I have what it takes to finish one so it would be a waist of time for him.

The other reason I want to run a Marathon is because I like to run and a Marathon is like the ultimate challenge. I think it would push me to become a better runner and a better person.

I will think about what you guys have said though. I do think I should wait until I'm 18-19 to run my first Marathon. By then, I will be a senior in High School or a freshman in College. Thanks again.
