for now get yourself on the high school track and cross country teams.
Training for a marathon sucks up so much of your time which right now you should be spending having fun with your peers.
In college, also get on the cross country and track teams. Then you will be running fairly long distances with your team mates and marathon training will be pretty easy for you and the friends that will be doing it with you.
You ain't lived until you have been to college track team parties!
