I agree with North, getting to the starting line and actually starting the race is a complete victory. Training enough to be able to have a chance to finish takes a huge amount of self sacrifice and a lot of time. Most people get home from work or school and prepare to eat and sit in front of the plug-in drug smoking a cigarette and drinking a brew. However, people training for marathons must have enough self-discipline to put themselves through an hour or so of training before relaxing.
