I don't understand how people on here are hoping straight into the schedule 2 training schedule. I think it's crazy for people to get off the couch and start running 34 miles a week.
Also... why hasn't any suggested to this person, since it is his "First Time Marathon Training" (Subject line)... The only way I could see people jumping into schedule 2 is if they are a quite active person already, maybe biking 200+ miles a week or more or something.
Just confused on why we didn't recommend this gentleman start out with schedule 1 instead of schedule 2.
Anyone starting schedule 1 now wouldn't be ready to do a race until January.
