"Johnny" from that link I posted managed to finish his marathon in a blistering 7 hours and 40 minutes. That works out to be an average 17:35 pace, a slow walk. And he RAN some of the race. He hasn't posted here in a while so we don't know the long term effects trying to finish the race had on him.
