reaply three goals

THe three goals thing is a really good idea. I ran in a 5k on friday. I finished in 30 minutes and 11 seconds. I thought that i would be doing good to finish in 45 minutes, but I really suprised myself. Before the race began, I was looking at the course, and thought that it was going to be a bit hard. It was up and down, lots of sharp turns, throughsand and mud and grass. My pace varied throughout the course...when there a stretch of flat surface, i went a little faster, then slowed down a tad during the parts with some terrain that I'm not used too (up until this point, I've just been running through a ball park and around a pond...all of which is flat). The weather was nice. It was cloudy and a little rainy, but not too bad. I know that if it had been sunny and hot, I probably wouldn't have finished when I did. I have another 5k coming up on the 29th. So, hopefully, I can do a bit better in this next one.

Thanks for all the input. I will definately start giving myself 3 goals. THANKS
