You have a couple of choices to make:
1) see a doctor before taking advice from strangers on a bulletin board.
Although most of us have experinced what you are going through, it wise to be on the safe side and seek expert face to face advice.
2) you could just keep running and suck up the pain. If it is shin splints the pain will go away with training (a few months to a few years).
