Well, the Dr. cleared me for resuming training, and I've already started back over on schedule 1. If you are interested, and want to see my progress, you can simply click here. I took the schedule1 from marathontraining.com and made it a wee prettier as far as reading it goes. The greyed out days on it are the days I've completed on the schedule.
Anyhoo... I also went yesterday to Phidippides in Atlanta and bought me a new pair of running shoes. I got the "Beast" from Brooks. They watched me run and I must have tried on over 20+ pairs before we got the right one dialed in. If you live in Georgia, I would highly recommend going there and getting some shoes. :)
I'll keep you guys posted on how things are going... Also, I am going to stick to a 10min mile, and if I do any racing Ed, I'll make sure I take the next day off!
