Knee brace // 29 weeks of training?

Hi again Gang...

I am still going strong on my schedule one training... The question I have is, Should I really spend 29 weeks worth of training for my first marathon, or should I skip over to schedule two? I am feeling REALLY well lately on my runs, but I know I probably do need to do the build up. I guess the answer is probably a yes

On my knee, it's starting to bother me after the runs. I iced it down yesterday and that seemed to help. But if I'm having to ice my knee down after only 4 miles, I'm afraid where I'll be weeks from now. Do you think I should wear my carbon fibre brace I got for sports?

Thanks so much, I'm really excited about my first Marathon, and am having tons of fun running. I hate rest days, but I'm taking them per the schedule. (marathontraining.com -- schedule I)

Sincerely yours, Trae "occy" McCombs http://occy.net/
