I am planning on running the Chicago Marathon. Will be my first. I am working on a base right now until I can get to an 18 week training program. I am slowly increasing my weekly mileage until I can reach 35-40 a week. This will give me 8-9 months of training for my first marathon. Just wondering if any one is also in training for this marathon and would like to start a motivational support team as I too am training alone at this time but have training partners lined up for my longer runs. Need a better base to train with them now.
