Ok gang, I've been working out as indicated above. My heel feels a wee bit better and doesn't really bother me running. I did injure my side the other day -- left hip -- while stretching. Ouch... :/ It still bothers me and it's been a week, but I can run. I can now run 4 miles with no problem up and down some really NASTY hills. That's part of another post I'll make later. Anyway, I started the Schedule I Marathon training program I found on: marathontraining.com... so we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!
