Sure, stiffening up is very common as your long runs get increasingly longer. Don't be fazed by this. In fact, stop every 30 minutes and stretch out. Focus especially on your calves, hams, IT bands and lower back. Then run another 30 minutes. Repeat throughout long runs and you'll feel so much better on training days that follow.
