I have added oatmeal to my diet - it sticks to the bones better than other cereal. I will often eat both. Also, I will eat a power bar in the mid afternoon when I know I will be running after work. It seems to be working well for me. Also, I noticed that I needed extra sleep once I started running more miles. You might keep that in mind as well. Good Luck...
