Hi everyone,

I have only run 2 marathons - Detroit both times. Detroit is pancake plat and has 3-4000 runners. I want to do another in the early fall (Sep-Oct). Would like to try something different for a change however I also want to qualify for Boston so looking for "easy" courses. I see Wineglass Marathon looks good but it only has 700 runners whereas Chicago has over 30,000. If you run a marathon with 30,000 runners does this impede your time??? Would a marathon with only 700 get your spirits down if you end up alone? Was thinking about Marine Corps but heard it is kinda tough course (comparably). Any input for a sorta new marathoner?
