In addition to vitamins, carbo, and gatorade, etc, I eat stewed pork feet. The dish has high content of cartilages, tendons and gelatin and is in my regular meal daily while training.
I was told that I was eating glucosamine and chondriotin tablets in its pre-processed form. Oh well, it tastes ten times better than the tablets. It still took me a while to get used to eat it DAILY, but it help me through first and second marathon without any joint problems.
People ask what do I eat that I seem to have rather smooth training in the last 1.5 years. This is the ONE thing that really stands out - stewed pork feet daily.
