Sounds like all the “spring” in your right leg had somehow been dampened. Could be tight muscles since you don’t mention any joint pain and stretching seems to help, but what’s causing it? If it was cold at the race, did you warm up properly? Did you do anything in the days leading up to the race that may have over-stressed that area? Is it time to replace your shoes? Do you run on crowned surfaces all the time (i.e., left side lower than right as in facing traffic)?

I hope you are able to find out the cause before Motorola. Perhaps getting a massage might also help. I wish you the best of luck!
