Hey, hang in there!
I've never been through what you've been through. However, the book "Daniles Running Formula " by Jack Daniels (yep, that's his real name) has a schedule for recovery given that you've had X amount of time off. He also gives formulas so you can gage your intensity levels.
Again, hang in there and don't rush it! If you aren't ready for a marathon in June, you can take it out on those summer 5K's and build up for the fall!
