I think marathon runners have grown accustomed to co-existing in races with marathon walkers, so I think we all need to be careful out there.
I think walkers have as much right to be on the course as runners, afterall walkers bring in the revenue and that's what race organizers look for. However it would be safer for all if walkers would follow race instructions and start AFTER the runners (referencing Portland last year)
BCP - from your experience you know never to assume what another runner is going to do... you just don't know.
