Unfortunately the runners do it too. Just happened to me at my first marathon. Woman is running in front of me and going towards the water station. I'm running behind her and plan to grab the water and keep on as I am assuming she will do based on her speed. What does she do ?! stops right in front of me and I plow right into her. Believe me, mean as it sounds I wish I would've knocked her over. So, moral of the story ... inconsiderate people come in all forms - walkers or runners.
