Thanks. John Elliott, our speedy 3:11 webmaster, was concerned about some juvenile posts that were corrupting this bulletin board. At that time, I posted some suggestions for what might be future guidelines. This is the appropriate place to comment on those guidelines. And as you have noted, the medical advice this year on this bulletin board has been consistently helpful and based on the posters' experiences. You may have also noted that almost no recent posts are ever deleted. Personally, I think these boards got very little activity in the first month or so after John asked for everyone to "just get along." However, in the past month, I've seen a big increase in the names of first time posters, and like your advice on shoe selection, the advice they have offered has been first rate. And, like you, I have worn motion control shoes, trying the new-to-America Diadora 370's for the 2000 Marine Corps Marathon. Stay with us, Dave!
