I am running the Philly tomorrow and sprained my ankle on an easy run yesterday. It is the common ankle sprain -on the outside of the ankle. THere is a fair amount of black and blue and some pain. I feel like I can still run on it as long as I run with good form. Am I in danger of doing any long lasting damage if I choose to run tomorrow? Can anyone who sufferred an ankle sprain so close to a marathon gove me advice on what I should do? I really want to run this marathon but do not want to do any permanent damage.
