I want to run my first marathon on April 25, 2004. I am currently running 4-6 miles 4x a week. I run on a treadmil though. I am now going to really concentrate on training and preparing as the 18 week countdown is around the corner. How often should I be running outdoors compared to the treadmil. My concern is that the winter months are ahead. Is it going to affect my training if I only do 2-3 of my weekly runs outdoors. or is the mix ok.
