LOng story short, I did 1st marathon last Jan. at disney with Team in Training. I had a few issues before marathon such as shoes, tendonitis, etc. I did my 20 miles no problem. However, when I ran the marathon my IT Band and Knees had severe pain on the 18th and I had to limp through the rest. I was a bit dissapointed being my goal was to finish running. I found out that I had some connective tissue difficulty, my pelvic was out of line, and I was possibly over compensating at times due to previous problems. So I went through PT for 14 weeks, and I couldn't run for 4 months. I had to start from scratch. I am back up to 6 mi. and my legs feel great (now it's just my endurance I need to work on). I consider Disney my battleground and I have an opportunity to do it again this Jan. Should I? Any input? Thank you.
