I have had PF since Sept.03 and not from running but from climbing the ladder too many times without strong supportive shoes. Learnt my lesson. Anyway I took 2 weeks off and retstarted my training with half plastic arch support inserts. Managed to run Marine Corps and New York and then took 3 weeks off. I have been keeping minimum mileage to keep in shape and sane. Progress is there but PF is also :) Lately I have been doing deep massage with my thumbs and icing & stretching more. Tried Strassburg Sock-For $35- it's a rip off. I have been thinking about asking for a Cortexone injection which seemed to have worked for some. Any feedback about the shot and the risks from anyone, especially with first hand experience is welcome. Other suggestions.Thanks.
