Ok. I have been officially training for my first marathon (Dallas White Rock Dec. 14) for 9 days. I am on an 18 week training schedule. I plan on repeating weeks 13 and 7. This will put me right on time to run the rock the last day of week 1. My question is this - on my long runs, does it make a difference whether I do it on a treadmill or outside. The Texas heat can be increadible so I was hoping to be able to do it indoors until the temp drops down to a bearable level. Thanks in advance for all the words of wisdom.
