I live in Orlando, Fl. I have started my 18 week training program last Sunday.

Due to the heat (now about 95 degrees F)I often find that I cannot complete the scheduled run and have to settle for a shorter distance.

If I had a treadmill, I sure would use it to run the long mid week runs as my schedule dictates. You have the option of staying right on track with your program - take advantage of it!

I do what I can during the mid week (running after work) and I make sure to religously stick to the weekly long run on Sunday mornings. I believe the weekly long run is the most important workout during your training.

Treadmill running indoors with a/c and no lightning? Yep, I'd enjoy that.
