...I'm always careful about weight charts based upon my own experience. I used to diet to keep myself at about 118 (5'6") when I was an athlete in high school and college. That used t to be considered a good weight. Now that I'm old (in my -shudder- 30s now), and weigh about 130-135, my performance is much better and I feel much better. I get my body fat measured twice a year. It's pretty low, even at my weight. At 118, it was non-existent and I lost my period and the whole nine yards. Now, 118 is not particularly skinny for a 5'6" woman - but it apparently was for me.

I guess I'd go for more track work and core strength training before I'd go for weight loss. But everyone has his- or her- own opinion on that.
