I am sorry I am so late to this message thread, but wanted to voice my opinion anyway!
I absolutely advocate the run/walk method of training for and running a marathon. I was born with club feet and spent much of my early life in braces. The run/walk method has allowed me to run without injury. I am very thankful for the joy running, and running marathons, has given me.
BRAVO! to Michelle for your comment about people who are overly concerned about how others complete a marathon. Well said!!!!
