I suggested this place for women to discuss things that they might not feel comfortable posting on other boards. Such topics might include: monthly cycles, menopause, urination, juggling marathon training and caring for kids, pregnancy and post-natal issues, training body & mind, personal safety while training, injuries common to women, womens health & weight loss issues, etc. I myself have had such questions and am sure some of you have too.
There are a couple books dedicated to women running but, IMHO, nothing beats getting info, experience, support & motivation from a group of folks who've been there and done that. Everyone is different and it is good to get differing views, not just those of book authors.
So I encourage you to post your women-related running questions here and, of course, to continue to visit the other bulletin boards. Note that this board is NOT intended to exclude men and I encourage men who have useful input to post here as well.
