I ran it last year. The weather was horrible, but I think that they've had great luck with weather in most other years.
The course is absolutely beautiful--definitely the highlight of the race. Gorgeous every step of the way. It's also flat and fast.
Drawbacks: There is a bit of camber to the road, which caused some people some problems. Also, if you are looking for crowd support, this isn't your race. Finally--and this didn't bother me at all, but I heard some other people mention it: you don't get much for your money. No expo, very minimal support on course, not much at the finish, no real activities, there was supposed to be a results book but they never sent it-- this guy had a long list of other amenities that they didn't have, not much in the way of splits. This guy was cheesed off b/c he calculated how much $$ that running club made on this, and how little they put into it.
Again, it didn't bother me, because I was looking for a fast course and a beautiful setting, and that's exactly what I got.
I'd do it again.
