Have you tried scheduling a session with your local massage therapist? The PFPS you are experiencing may be caused by inflammation of the patellar ligament or tendon. Find a therapist near you who has had experience with sports-related injuries. The inflammation can be caused by tight quads or psoas. Relieving tension in these muscles may help relieve a lot of the pain you feel. It may require more than one session to reduce the inflammation so I suggest having regular visits. Happy Trails!
