Chiropractic care for runners

I have been experiencing knee pain during 12+ mile runs in my marathon training. I assumed it was an IT band problem and went to a chiropractor to see if he could help. He feels it is a tilted pelvis which is causeing knee instability (sounds good to me), and is manipulating me appropriately. Has anyone else had experience with a chiropractor treating running injuries and pain?
