develop a schedule and see if your body will hold up, but don't push it. listen to your body. you really have about 2 months of good training and a short taper before a Feb race. thats enough time if your in decent shape (you said you ran 26.2 before). hopefully, you can cover about 10-12 miles without too much problem now. otherwise you might have a big problem come february.
