No, Yellowshark, I've never done a tri. I don't care for the biking part; I swim mostly because I like it and because my body breaks down if I try to run more than 45 mpw for any extended period of time.
But I wonder if, in terms of running, I'd be better off cutting back on swimming. I know that if my body could stand it, I'd get more running benifit from doing a second run instead of swimming; but the question is "is it better to swim" or to do nothing for that second workout? (not that the answer would alter what I do..:-) )
