Some posters are darn good runners, coaches, and scientists

While no one here may be world class, there are some excellent current and former U.S. marathoners who pass through occasionally. Two of these would be Steve Palladino for men and Tracy Stewart for women. Both offer excellent advice. Many people here have run the Boston Marathon. Others have specialized training, such as in chemistry, podiatry, or physiology. Not bad!
