I too was upset the marathon won't be held this Sunday. I trained hard this WINTER - and what a winter we had. This was to be my first as well. Look into the Baltimore Marathon. I ran a leg in the team relay last year. The race is being capped at 4000 - which might fill up. The crowds are great but sporatic at times...they reduced the hills from the first year...I highly recommend looking into Baltimore.
