Suzy, I've spoken to a few friends who've run Las Vegas and they've all said that it's a pretty boring marathon. Obviously it can get quite warm there and apparently the cousre is very flat and it's right out in the middle of nowwhere. I think thye said it runs along a very straight road parallel to the freeway and you don't really come anywhere near town. They bus you out to the start cos it's nowwhere in particular. I don't believe that it's a good option for a good race as there's still some good choices of other races out there. I'm in Mi also and I tried to qualify for Boston in Chicago. UNfortunately I had a virus for a couple of weeks B4 it and I didn't do what I expected. I'm looking at running one in Florida (12/10) & if that fails then I'll look @ something in Jan/Feb.
