Check w/ a doc

A very good friend of mine had what she thought was a nagging case of bronchitis (another lung thing). She ignored the symptoms and kept pushing herself hard, as she always did, when training. She ended up in the hospital for 3 days with a bad case of pneumonia and could not do anything workout-wise for 2-3 weeks.

So, I suggest you go see a doctor and have it checked out, especially since it’s already been at least 4 days since you’ve been bothered enough by it not to train. If the doc says OK to resume training, do so at a lesser intensity until you are well again. If the doc says rest, REST. Do not try to make-up for your lost training, just make some adjustments to your training and go from there. You’ve still got plenty of time to train for your race.
