FYI, I ran in the first annual Denver Mile High City Marathon yesterday. Just wanted to mention to all who might be interested that I would highly recommend running this Marathon next year. The course was mainly flat and very scenic, running through 5 of Denver's city parks. Although this was the first year there were many spectators cheering on competitors. Also, the race was very well run. Not much in terms of expo hype, etc., but the course had police controlling traffic flow at every single intersection. The police were very friendly and efficient. I know the altitude might hurt those of you who don't train at in Denver but based on my above comments I think beginner or veterans would find it enjoyable.
