We done on Chicago. I hear it was a great day. Sound like your muscles just got tired to me, maybe glycogen depletion or just at their endurance limit. On twenty miles for your max run this is not unusual. Id suggest trying to up your mileage for the next one and maybe a longer build up. 8 X 440 may be a good 1500m session but im not sure it will aid youre marathon times. However its always nice to try something new.
