Every time I'm in a running store it seems like a very quiet place. Most stores I've seen have relatively few of the many different shoes being made today and with the prices being so much higher in the stores most people buy through the mail. It would seem to be a difficult way to make a profit. And start-up costs and inventory costs would seem to be extremely high.
